There are few ways to handle data security in Looker Studio and BigQuery.
When using Google Workspace you can monitor all events made by users in Looker Studio.
You can monitor and trigger alerts when users do actions like: Data export, report copy, report access, report, share and a lot of more.
Just navigate to Reporting--> Audit And Investigation --> Looker Studio to see full history and create a ttriggers based on your conditions. For example send an email alertt anytime a user exports data from chart (very useful! 😉
Another thing is utilizing a custom query with email as parameter whichh allows you to show data based on a policy you predefined using your table schemas.

Also a simple trick to not allow your users to export data is to cover whole page with a blank rectangle having 0% opacity. User will see thhe data but wont be able to click on it. ( unfortunately, he wont be able to perform any filtering using chharts also if enabled).
