Hi all, I tried to import in Looker Studio a table from a Google sheet table. Unfortunately it sorted me automatically but I don't want any sort type,,,, I want the sorgent rows order. Can someone help me please? The dimension sorted is "Denominazione"

It sorts your data correctly as it is a text.
Try adding new column in your google sheets with a rank (like you did but in separate cell)
Should be a number and use it as a sort in Looker Studio report.

Thank Arkady it's a good workaround.
Now I have another problem...
Can I hide this new column in the real visualization?
Thanks
I think the column you are using to sort your data needs to be present in the table.
You can try hiding it with a rectangle with the same color as your background and put it in front of the chart.
Optionally you can do a a trick with conditional formatting applying same color as your table background to
this column.
The sort field doesn't need to be in your table. When you go to choose an option for Sort, choose Calculated Field and add the sort field in a calculated field (there's really no calculation, you're just inserting the sort field.)
I actually use calculated fields like this to sort tables in all my dashboards, even if I'm just sorting on Name or something, because it has the side effect of no "sort arrow" in the table which is less cluttered.
Thanks for the tip. Didnt know it works this way 🙂
