Disable 'Show suggested values while typing' in Looker Studio filter creation

The functionality 'Show suggested values while typing' while creating filters in Looker Studio is broken & does not work. When I turn off this feature, create a filter & save, when I come back to view the filter configuration, the functionality I disabled, 'Show suggested values while typing', has been automatically re-enabled by Google and breaks the filter by erasing the value that was entered manually. No user asked for this feature and when we turn it off we expect it to be completely turned off in perpetuity. This is the worst feature I've ever encountered. Please remove it from Looker Studio completely.

I would also like to see how to disable this. It creates many freezing and waiting issues while working.
