Grand total is not accurate

Hi guys, I am new here. I was testing some data with mobile download stats and I found out that the grand total of the table component and the actual count is not aligned.

In this case, you can take the row count as an index as the quantity is also one each. You can clearly see that the grand total is missing by 2 counts. Is this how the system always be? if not what could I possibly do to fix this?

Thanks in advance

Hello.

It seems like a data aggregation issue. Can you try and remove some dimensions in order to test the grand total? If you remove one dimension and it calculates correctly you found your solution

Hi,

Thanks for replying. I have tried reducing and and inserting several dimensions and the result is pretty much the same. In addition, creating new table and reconnecting the datasource did not help. However, the Time Series Chart is accurate with the actual result while the Scorecard is not

It doesn't actually sum the values in the table, the grand total summary of a table is a sum of whatever the metric being used is not the actual rows shown in the chart. Try adding a filter to show only that devices or to show all the entries for all devices and check the sum

I understand that the grand total summary is a sum of the selected metric, which is Total Users in my case.  I checked twice that I have used to right metric and also ensured that the aggregation method remains as default . Moreover, there is only one user per row indicating a total of 10 users so I was confused about what I did wrong.

@koravitpite are you sure you are not summing unique users?

Hi,

Thank you for your question but I did not alter any aggregation settings and also ensure that they remain as default. Moreover, I cannot change whether I desire the system to do sum/count unique. So, I am quite sure that I did not apply sum unique method
