Hello everyone,
We're facing an issue in Looker Studio after transferring ownership of multiple "Extract Data" data sources to another person. We can't update the data source credentials.
When accessing the "Extract Data" data source, we see a popup to reconnect the data. Clicking "Reconnect" takes us to the Edit Connection page, but there's no "Reconnect" button.
On the Fields page, the credentials toggle is disabled, citing a policy we can't locate.
We're stuck as all graphs and reports using these extracts show an error: "Looker Studio cannot connect to your data set. The data source no longer has access to the underlying data set. Please contact the data source owner to fix it."
Has anyone faced this issue or have suggestions on how to resolve it?

So far, this sounds mostly like expected behavior. You mentioned that "Reconnect" takes you to the Edit Connection page, but there's no "Reconnect" button. There should be an "Save and Extract" button, do you see that?

I am also facing the same issue. I am unable to change the data source of extract as employee is leaving. If employee leaves and account is deactivated, charts will fail.
However, i cannot change data credentials of extract as seen here when i hover over it. May i know what policy i could change to enable this?
