Hi everyone!
Here's my issue: I'm trying to make 2 different reports from the same account. I have two clients in the same Google Ads account, both of them have their own campaign. Let's call them Client A & Client B. Both of them need their own report so here's what I'm doing and what stops me from succeeding: When trying to do Client A's report, I go in the filter section and I select Campaign - Client A's Campaigns, then I click apply, to confirm my choices. Everything changes to what it's supposed to look like, all the data is correct! But when I go from the Edit mode to the Display mode, everything goes back to default settings - where I can see Client A & Client B's data. I tried exporting the report to see if it was only a display issue, but the problem stays the same. Tried on different time and computers, problem persists.
What should I do? Do you guys know any other option to achieve the same result? Thank you so much in advance!
I'm not sure how you set it up in your report. Could you show us some screenshots of your settings?
For me, I set a page_view filter that works in both edit mode and view mode. Check the screenshots below:
Hi! Tysm, but I'm not sure I get what you mean in your screenshots, I tried and no data appears. Here's the screenshot from my POV. I then click on Appliquer (apply), all the data is right, but then I get out of the display mode and it gets back to default settings...
Hello, the reason your filter doesn't apply in view mode is that you're using a page filter instead of a table filter.
Here’s how you set your filter (incorrectly):
You should use this filter:
or add a control => advanced filter:
Advanced filter can retain the same result when switching to view mode:
Hello again! First of all, thank you so much for taking the time. I understand the issue, here's what I see when I go to the correct section:
I added a filter as you showed me in your first option, and here's the result: all the data is gone. I only selected the campaing I want in the report. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe the issue is here?:
Thank you very much for your help!
Yes, your second picture is definitely set incorrectly. Your condition is using "AND", which means your campaign must match both conditions at the same time.
If you want to include two different campaigns, you should use only one condition and apply regex with the "|" symbol to include both names at once.
If you don’t know how to write the regex rule, you can tell me your desired campaign names — or just ask GPT, that might be a faster solution too.
