Images wrapped with undesirable hyperlink

All images added to a report contain this odd hyperlink (https://www.google.com/url?q=)
Not visible in edit mode, "Image Link URL" is not set. But in view mode, page level images link out. Report level images seem to be fine. This is also present if you export your report as a PDF.
Highly problematic if you use images as a backgrounds as when you export to PDF the entire page links to https://www.google.com/url?q= including intentional hyperlinks.

Ground work to a halt as we cant send reports to clients

Consider adding another layer on top of image as a background with 0% opacity covering whole background.

THANK YOU!!! this worked perfectly! I have a dashboard with an image as the full page background that i have not been able to publish because of this recent image linking issue, until now! as you suggested, I just added a full page sized shape (square) one layer above the image then set the opacity to 0% and BAM! thanks again @ArkadyZagdan

Thanks for the reply @ArkadyZagdan
This does not work with PDF exports unfortunately .

Thats not really a great solution and rather a workaround. Why can the image linking not be deactivated by default?
