We are experiencing an intermittent issue when attempting to download PDF versions of dashboards in Looker Studio. Occasionally, we receive a system error while trying to download the PDF. However, after some time or after trying again later, the download works fine and there is no error. This issue has occurred around 2-3 times over the past 4 months, and we're unsure about the root cause or how to address it.
Additionally, we are running daily cron jobs that add data to BigQuery, and then using the BigQuery connector to pull that data into Looker Studio for reporting and dashboarding. We've observed that the intermittent error when downloading PDFs seems to occur after these cron jobs run, leading us to wonder if there could be any correlation between the cron job execution and the system error when attempting to download the PDF.
We would appreciate any insight into the following:
- Why this intermittent error could be happening, especially after cron jobs update the data in BigQuery.
- Potential solutions or troubleshooting steps to prevent this issue from occurring in the future, particularly in the context of the data being updated regularly via cron.
