Looker Google Analytics

Hi everyone,

I’ve entered my Google Analytics ID in the configuration section of my Looker Studio report. However, when I check Google Analytics, I see the following message:

"Below is the Google tag for this account. Copy and paste it into the code of every page on your website, just after the <head> element. Do not add more than one Google tag per page."

I’m a bit confused because I thought adding the Analytics ID in Looker Studio would automatically track visits to my report. Does anyone know if I need to add the Google tag somewhere else? How can I properly set up Google Analytics to track visits to my Looker Studio report?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sounds like you've done the correct steps.  Now you just have to wait a bit. I've found that it takes patience for the Looker Studio dashboards to provide data to GA4.  I waited a day and then came back to see analytics data starting to populated.  Once configured, it seems to flow correctly.
