Looker Reports Loading Very Very Slow

For the last week or so looker reports are extremely slow to load. We have multiple team members all reporting the same issue. Reports that used to take 10 seconds, now load for 5+ minutes and the load bar just keeps on going. Some boxes and charts simply don't load. 

These are reports connected to only 1 G4 source. And these sources are not huge on data. It seems like a system issue. Anyone experiencing this? This is from multiple locations, from multiple staff members. So its not our connection.

Hi! Same problem here, some reports very slow to load, i try change the filter in drop down menu to load fast some data.

My internet connection here is ok, as well!

Any updates from the looker team on why we're seeing so much slowness? Server issues maybe?

I am having the same issues. This seems to be an ongoing issue that happens every few weeks. Its almost like they have to reset something to finally get it to work again. Extremely frustrating and embarrassing when my customers rely so heavily on this data. I was really hoping upgrading to Looker Studio Pro would actually help (It didn't)

I'm new around here. Are there looker developers or representatives on these threads that review this? Anyone know?

Not sure of the answer to that, but the lack of response leads me to believe they are not. I was under the impression that was the whole reason for these forums. 

same, looker has been unacceptably slow lately. no idea what's going on. no changes on our end.

Yeah, I have my dashboard embedded on a website and the latency is not a good look

Weird to see so many experienced users reporting slowness recently. I'm in the same camp and now thinking the cause is more widespread. I had a dashboard I'd used for months without issue become completely unusable recently. Checked my other dashboards: same issue. Nothing has changed with the data, and I'm seeing the same slowness across everywhere. 

I have also been experiencing major issues the last two days. I cannot add any new data sources and the dashboards that are already up and running are taking ages to load.

Same here. The report and the toolbar on the right-hand side for editing the report does not appear. It doesn't allow you to edit what you've done, nor does it allow you to do more. From one moment to the next, it became like this and wouldn't let you edit it completely.

I just realized this post is not recent; it was made in August and also during the first days of the month. Is it possible that this is a problem that happens on the first days of some months? In that case, we just have to wait a few days and it will start working again? It would be nice if the people who had this problem before tell us what happen next jaja

We do most of reporting the 1st of the month and typically don't have this issue. We noticed a slow down last week and it got better for a little bit yesterday and now it back to almost unusable.

Super slow from South Africa. Tried resetting cache etc and nothing. Direct link to both Google Ads and Google Analytics so its their own tools.
