Looker Studio Column chart - Date Filter conflict with Bars value under Style tab

I have a column chart added for a table based in Big query. The report level date filter is not working as expected only for the above column chart. 
Upon playing around, I discovered that the value for Bars under Style tab is overriding the date filter.

For example, if I declare a value of 6 and apply a date filter to show 2024, it just shows the last 6 months of data (from Oct 2024 to Mar 2025).

The Date filter works fine when I add a table chart on the same Data table, so there is no issue with the data itself.

I also tried removing the value under 'Bars', which just took the max range (5000) with Date filter not working still.

Any pointers would be appreciated, Thanks in advance!

If all tables are using the same data source, also check which data source is being used by your filter.
