I am getting the following error
"Looker Studio cannot connect to your data set. The data source no longer has access to the underlying data set. Please contact the data source owner to fix it.
Error ID: cc851eec"
Data source is from an Excel file, data source is embedded. Trying to get other people in my team to make a copy and upload a new excel file to replace the data in the sheet but when they make a copy all of the tables are broken with the above error.
Any guidance is appreciated!
Try this: Have them make a copy of the report, but when the message pops up to select a new data source, don't change anything and just choose "Copy Report." The copied report will appear with all the tables etc. broken, which is expected. Then, choose Resource > Manage added data source, and choose Edit for the desired data source, and navigate to connect the data source to the new sheet. (If you're using the Excel connector, this may be slightly different but this is how it would work for Sheets.)
Hi @lauratilton I have tried what you mentioned but I still get an error, if it is true that my data source is a PostgreSQL. I try to connect again and the following error appears: "We have detected an error and we have not been able to complete your request."
Thanks @lauratilton, I tried that with a colleague and once I press 'edit' I get to this screen and it just infinitely loads. Please find a screenshot for reference. Feels like there is a problem with the Data Source. Was hoping I wouldn't have to configure everything again.
