Looker Studio Filters Not Working

Hi

 

I have a dashboard sourced from Google Sheets with 2 tabs. The 2 tabs were produced from the same data and have a 1 column in common. This column has the same name on both tabs. Looker is not able to filter for data from both tabs. This used to work fine until this weekend when I refreshed the data and now the drop-down filter only works for the tab it sourced from. Why is this happening?

From my personal experience, 

  1. Only the common filter works when such two data sources are combined on a page. So when you a filter which is common on two tables, such common filter will work perfectly on both data sources. However when you will use any other filter which is not common or has a different header then it will not work. 
  2. I would combine the data on a single sheet or use blend to manipulte the data in this case.
