Looker Studio Plug In for Google Slides

I have been trying to use the looker studio plugin for google slides and get as far as the import button (see below) but then the visualization fails to load. I am using Looker Studio Pro as well.

Is there a fix for this?

The "import" button should open a new tab with Looker Studio open. Are you seeing this as well?

I would also recommend checking the "Before you begin" section of the Looker Studio in Google Slides article to make sure you've got the correct permissions.

I was hoping to use the new Looker Studio plugin to automate a bunch of client reports on a monthly basis. But the plugin was not as easy to use or reliable as I had hoped. Anyway, after some searching, I found Slideform, which automatically pulls the data into Slides as I had hoped. Maybe this will be a good solution for you too.
