I'm trying to clarify what the external IP address/subnets for Looker Studio would be.
I need to connect to an external database in another cloud but need to whitelist the subnets/IPs on the external DB endpoint.
I've read https://cloud.google.com/looker/docs/enabling-secure-db-access but I'm still confused where it says "add to the allowlist the IP addresses that match your region" but the external database isn't within a GCP region. Do I just need to add them all? our users of Looker Studio aren't in a single geographic location.

Does this document address your question @TomWF ?
Specifically the 'Firewall and database access' section.
Hi Tom - just to clarify, the docs you are linking pertain to Looker, rather than Looker Studio. Are you trying to connect to the database using one of Studio's connectors?
Hi @GavinW
Yes we're looking to use one of the connectors, the redshift connector in this instance.

Thanks @GavinW that's definitely what I was missing.
