Something truly bizarre just happened, and I'm curious if anyone else has seen this and/or knows if there's anything that can be done.
- I went to create a new Extract data source (from the LS dashboard: New > Data Source > Extract)
- I select the email_data data source (which is connected to BigQuery) as the main source and start selecting fields
- I want to check a custom function in the email_data data source, so I click the function icon
- It then gives me an error of "Revoked data source credentials"
- I cancel that window and go back to the extract data source, except that...
- If I try to reconnect or cancel and try to editemail_data, it takes me to the extract configuration, not the original data configuration.
Some somehow, it seems to have overwritten the original email_data data source configuration with the extract configuration. If I select the email_data data source, it will show me some of the fields I selected for the extract (which I never chose to save), but also some of the fields in email_data, but not all of them. Anyone know what's going on here?! It's really strange!
I've never seen this before. I never chose to save the extract, and certainly didn't do anything that would overwrite the email_dataoriginal data set with the extract. I wouldn't even know how to do that if I tried.
Both the original data source owner and I are seeing the same thing--the extract in place of the original connection--and neither of us can access the version history.
Any ideas on how we can restore the original data in the data source? Or has anyone else seen this happen before?
