Looker Studio poor performance?

G'day,

Larry was famous for the google search results must return in < 200ms, and so he must be very sad about Looker page load performance.

Are there others seeing such poor performance?  ... These are times measured from LA on reasonably fast cable.  I'm ~10ms from Google's 8.8.8.8

Our Clickhouse database is very fast, responding in <20ms, yet we are seeing component load times in the order of ~300ms, so where is the ~280ms going?
