Looker studio Auto date range behavior changed

our dashboard has the data range control widget set to "auto date range", the widget shown up as "Select date range". which used to cover all the date range for given dataset.

The behavior suddenly changed this morning, it default to the current date.

I have to change the setting to something else, e.g. last year, Then change back to "auto date range" in order to bring back the correct behavior.

something broken during system update?

just noticed several post regarding the date range control issue.

my current workaround is to change the setting to something else, e.g. last year, Then change back to "auto date range" in order to bring back the correct behavior. at least this suites my needs.

This worked for me, thanks!!

This is now fixed. Thank you for your patience!

 Looks like it's been fixed.

Looks like this issue is back again

I've had this issue before and believe it eventually solved itself. I do not think it is from user error. You can try deleting the control and starting fresh. I also believe I tried making a new page and duplicated everything off the original page other than the data control field.

We are having the same issue since Tuesday. Still no comment from anyone on the Looker team? I have already +1'd the bug report
