I am using a data source from a Google Sheet file.
I have a column with an ID that uses large numbers (9733491472046678906, 15750232142704111629, etc).
When I set up a table (chart), Looker Studio does not recognize it. It shows shorter numbers (3839070419, 8433604511, etc).
I tried treating the dimension (ID column) as text, but Looker Studio still does not recognize it.
Any idea why?

Hello, I tried your example in my Google Sheets file, and it worked in my Looker Studio. May I ask how you connected it to your sheet? Also, what did you mean by 'Looker Studio doesn’t recognize it'?

Hello,
I am running into a similar issue. Any suggestions? I have a dataset (CSV file) with long numbers (order ID), but when I loaded the dataset to LookerStudio, it looks like this.
I made sure to change the type to "text" with no luck. The csv is stored in my GCS bucket so I download the file to make sure the csv is not the issue and it is looking normal there.
Thank you in advance
Ensure the CSV column and the Looker Studio source are classified as text only.
