To All Google Staff,
This issue of phishing scam emails coming from Looker Studio has NOT been "RESOLVED" , it has NOT been "FIXED", and it has NOT been delta with by Google!!!!
This issue has obviously been going on for almost 2 years and it is STILL continuing with out any means of stopping, blocking, nor ending these phishing spam junk emails. The ONLY thing that is happening is, it is filling up spam folders, and it's taking away valuable storage space that each person has with Gmail. I personally am fighting this with 97% of my storage filled with these junk spam emails, and the storage is shrinking fast!!!! Once the storage of Gmail reaches 100%, I wont be able to send nor receive emails within my Gmail account.
Ohhh, but wait, the solution is easy, Google will charge a person to get more storage space for their Gmail account. FOR WHAT?????? So the person will just get more spam phishing emails from Looker Studios (Looker Studios is owned by Google).
Well, isn't that convenient. When a person Gmail reaches 100%, from which anywhere from 20-30% is from spam and phishing emails. If that person doesn't stay on top of this to consistently and routinely empty their spam folder, then empty their trash can, their email storage will fill up. In big part from spam and phishing emails from Google's Looker Studio. Where many MANY people that has made complaints to Google about these phishing emails, DO NOT EVEN USE Looker Studio in any way!!!!!!
A Google Staff member responded with "You can go to a specific page, and fill out a complaint for, to which we will look into this issue" ...... "Look into this issue" ?????? This issue with these phishing emails coming from Looker Studio has been going on for NEARLY 2 YEARS , and it still has not been delt with by Google!!!!! And SEVERAL people have replied to the "Complaint form" by stating "I tried that form, but there is no way to submit a report on there. The only "Non-Legal" option to submit one is for "Child sexual abuse material". " So filling out a complaint form does even get sent in to Google.
The "Help" Pages to guide a person to solutions are so confusing, misleading, and unrelated to trying to stop, block, unsubscribe, with in Google preferences. Specially if you are trying to find a "Third Party App", even though the app is a owned by Google, like Looker Studio. Meanwhile these damn phishing emails are still being piled up in a person's spam folder, filling up valuable storage space in their Gmail.
So the remaining and very obvious question is still being asked by thousands of very frustrated people, "Why am I getting so many phishing emails, from a Google Owned application 'Looker Studio', that is promoting adult p@rn/s@x/dating sites, even though I have never even have used 'Looker Studio'?" ...... Also, "Why can't I "Opt-Out" of these emails from 'Looker Studio'? ....... And most importantly, "Why has this issue been going on for nearly 2 years, and Google has not done a damn thing about this issue?"
I have tried everything from going thru the help pages, I have tried sending a dozen different emails to a dozen different Google support members I have tried closing out all emails from "Third Party" apps. And nothing has worked to stop these phishing emails, and I have never had a response from the dozen different emails I have sent to a dozen different support departments.
So Google, are you just going to continue ignoring the thousands and thousands of complaints from people around the world, and just sit back while people are forced to buy more storage space, so they can continue to use their Gmail??? Or are you ever going to resolve this issue that has been going on for nearly 2 years??
Just so it is completely clear, I have copied this entire complaint, and I will be posting this as many times as I can, in as many places I can, all over the internet, untill this issue of these phishing emails from 'Looker Studio' has completely stopped for every body that has this same issue!!!!!
