LookerStudio Embedding and Row Level Security

Hello, I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction, so I'm using BigQuery for my data and LookerStudio as my visualisation tool and I built a report that I embedded into a mobile app using an Iframe. I want to take that user's email they logged in with on the app and pass that to a filter in the Iframe so that each client can only see their own data. Is there a way to do this without them having to log into their google account ?

Hi @WayneShort, thanks for your post!

There isn't a way to do this directly, but there could be a potential workaround. You can turn on the public embed setting on the report, and then use the Filter by email capability, filtering by the email addresses that your users log in with.

One of our Community users also posted a smart workaround for a similar use case, I wonder if that might be helpful as well.

You can also submit a feature request for our team, if neither of these options is a good solution, or if you'd like to see a specific way to share reports with your mobile app users.
