I am trying to build a bubble map report showing the location (city) from two separate Google Sheets.
One contains information from the US & UK (city, country, contact details) and the other Sheet contains the same but its built to hold info from India.
Both are data dense with a lot of information, but all I want for it to be displayed on the bubble map is their name and location.
I can't blend the two Google sheet for it to be displayed in the bubble map, unless all the information is located in one google sheet and then it will display everything.
Can anyone support me with this as clearly I am doing something wrong.
Thank you.
It's hard to provide a precise solution without seeing your actual data. Could you share your raw data with us?
Alternatively, you could try wrangling the data into a single sheet before importing it into Looker Studio. Avoid using data blending, as it can easily cause errors, especially if you're not fully familiar with its mechanism.
Hi!
Thank you for your support.
I tried to have everything in one sheet, different tabs, but somehow, even though I select every tab, the information still wont display.
I will try to show a trial data and looker studio before the end of the day.
Thank you for your help.
Desired Result
Result when I try to blend
On the first image you can see what I am trying to achieve, which I have done so by collecting all the data in un sheet, one tab. However, its becoming very dense and its making the report to crash, as per each different experience I need to add separate rows duplicating all the information. I have created a multiple selection for experience, but after doing 50 different individuals with experience, the map crashed saying there is an error with the configuration. So I had to restore my google sheet to an older version and it started working again.
I am trying now to divide it by region but when I upload the google sheet, it will only show me on the map the individuals located on the first tab "Europe" and not the other tab.
I am not sure how to fix this.
I would be very grateful if you an assist me.
According to your second graph, I believe you are using the blended data mode and have some incorrect settings. Could you provide some raw data (Google Sheets) for us? If you want to use blended data, the most important step is to check whether the data has been mixed correctly.
