Map SuperZoom on Mobile Responsive Mode

I'm using the new responsive layout mode in Looker Studio, and I've noticed that when viewing the report on mobile devices (I'm using Android), the maps display oversized control buttons (such as zoom, full-screen, and layer toggles). These buttons take up too much space and negatively impact the user experience. Sound's like the element is superzoom.

When I Test on the mobile viewer on looker studio, but when I go to an actually mobile phone it gets distorted :

On Looker Mobile Viewer (Looks OK):

On Android Phone (Look SuperZoomed):

On Android Phone in desktop-mode (Looks OK):

Is there any fix? Cause there is no use for the map in Mobile as it are.

This looks like a responsive layout issue with how Looker Studio renders embedded maps on mobile devices.

Try these steps:

  1. Check if you can wrap the map inside a container or use a fixed-size embed that limits how much space control buttons take.

  2. Consider switching off unnecessary map controls (zoom, layer toggle) if they are not needed.

  3. Report this as feedback to Google, as it may be a UI scaling bug specific to mobile responsive mode.

Unfortunately, right now there’s no built-in fix, but reducing controls or using a simpler embed setup may improve the mobile view.

Thank you! But the problem is that I can not embed the map in a iframe, as I need it to interact with other elements from the screen. And the map controls are important in this case, as the user use the map to navigate through objects.

I reported the problem to Google, to see if I can get a fix.
