I'm not sure if this is intentional and if this was always the case, but I am unable to add comparisons (both period or year over year) to tables if I'm using the date as a dimension. I initially tried to format the date as Year Month, and thought that maybe this was an issue, but I can't get it work with the default date dimension either.
I checked it on custom data in BQ as well as GA4 native connector to ensure there is no issues with the dataset. Below you can see a native GA4 connection with Date as a dimension and no PoP comparison values even though you can clearly see views for the previous days. If I remove the date from the dimension I get the PoP comparison but it is for the whole period, and what I want to

It seems like a bug, I have the same issue with GA4, and there is some other user who shared the same issue with Google Ads.
