Numbers without Thousand Separator when Decimal Places set to 0

Hello Looker Studio Community,

I'm encountering an issue where numbers in my tables are not displaying thousand separators when I set the "Decimal precision" to 0 in the field's formatting.

For example, instead of seeing "1,234,567", I see "1234567". This makes it significantly harder to read larger numbers.

This issue only seems to occur when the decimal places are set to 0. If I have any decimal places (even if the values are whole numbers), the thousand separators appear correctly.

Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know of a setting or workaround to display thousand separators for whole numbers when the decimal places are set to 0?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

I figured out what the issue was. When I change the decimal places, the formatting goes to "None". So, each time I change decimal places, I need to set the formatting again.

Hello, what is your metric data type in Looker Studio? I think it automatically applies "thousand separators."

I have the same settings as you, and it does not work.

I started with a new, blank report, and it works. I guess I will delete the old report and start from the beginning.
