Optional Metrics - Do you have to be an editor to view optional metrics?

Do you have to be an editor to view optional metrics on Looker Studio? I always presumed those with 'viewer' access could see optional metrics but have recently found that a colleague with 'viewer' access could not see the optional metrics in a chart.

Is there any way to enable 'viewers' to see optional metrics?

I will like to ask the same question as well. It seems like the viewers cannot see the optional metric toggle button

Hi @laura_ruff !

Optional Metrics should be accessible to report Viewers when configured. If this isn't the case, it would be great if you could create a bug report (feel free to add it to this existing post.)
