Removing Refresh Data Option

Hi,

I currently am running into an issue where my FB connector is getting overloaded and it seems like the issue is stemming from users on the report hitting the refresh data option. Is there a way to remove this option from end users so that I can avoid people with access to the report trying to do this and overloading the FB API?

Hi Duke,

I would suggest to decrease the data freshness on the connector, that might solve the issue. The manual refreshes are actually only refreshing the cache , so it shouldn't be an issue.

The default for the connector is set at 12hrs (which is the default for the connector) and I really need to have it there at minimum. Thank you for the suggestion!

Are your end users all editors of the report? Only report editors have access to Refresh Data manually.

Thank you very much for this info! I made sure everyone is set as viewer and only have myself as the owener/editor
