Scroll Bar missing from Style pane in Looker Studio "Explore" UI

When using "Explore" on a data source, there is no scroll bar on the style pane in the interface. I've tested this from multiple accounts, across multiple data sources (BigQuery, Sheets), across multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari) and others are able to reproduce. The missing scrollbar prevents us from accessing the configurations. We know they are there because if we change the browser zoom or if we resize the window, we can see the full list.

This occurs 100% of the time and is a medium severity to our organization, making it quite difficult to Explore data sources.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a data source (or have an existing data source)
  2. Go to Data Source and select "EXPLORE"
  3. Change to the "STYLE" tab and see a missing scrollbar

Any data source should do, but here is a public Data Source based upon dummy data stored in Google Sheets: https://lookerstudio.google.com/datasources/a7ada7b6-c5b8-4d5c-8a97-abda1acf5530

Hi @skyler, thanks for your post, and your thorough troubleshooting and reproduction notes.

Since the Explorer is an experimental feature, there can be some hiccups or rough edges with the feature here and there. I recommend submitting this information in a bug request (instructions are here: https://support.google.com/looker-studio/answer/13606940to formally let our team know that you are experiencing this issue? It would be super helpful for us to start looking into it!

Report sent via Send Feedback, thank you!

Thank YOU! 🙏

This bug now exists for over a year, if not even longer. There are numerous threads about this. Its a bid sad that this hasnt been fixed yet, because this makes explorer more or less unusable.

A small workaround is to zoom the browser window out, so more parts of the style panel become visible.

I cannot believe that this bug still exists... making the product almost absolutely useless!
