Hi Everyone,
I've created a dashboard in looker studio, suddenly the data set under the setup & style option is not appearing in dashboard. I'm attaching the image of the same, on the right hand side of the image you can see nothing is appearing when I've clicked on the chart & style option is also not appearing. Any help is appreciated.🙏 Thanks
Hi
is this a problem with that one specific chart or on all charts? Have you tried toggling Properties off and on on the right panel? Are you using Looker Studio Pro
Thanks
Marc
Hi Marc,
Thanks for your response. Yes I tried toggling Properties off and on on the right panel as well. But nothing worked. No I'm not using looker pro.
Is it happening on all charts or just on that specific one?
This is happening in all charts. I've created 8 tabs my dash suddenly this issue pops up. Can share with you the access, If you can suggest some solution for the same .
From last 3 days I'm facing this issue. I'm sharing few images again where you can see, I've clicked on the graph of two different tabs but on right hand side nothing is appearing under setup & style.
I am also experiencing the same issue.
I too have been experiencing the same issue for a couple of weeks now
Sometimes you'll need to refresh your browser or toggle on/off the properties in the far right panel - data, properties, filter bar. This usually works for me.
We’re experiencing the exact same issue. It only affects bar charts, where the “Setup” and “Style” options are disappearing. Unfortunately, none of the usual fixes—refreshing the page, using incognito mode, or toggling the Properties panel—have worked.
This has made Looker Studio nearly unusable for us, as bar charts are our most frequently used visualization. The only partial workaround we’ve found is to temporarily switch to a different chart type, make the necessary edits, and then switch back to a bar chart. However, this is quite inconvenient and doesn’t allow for full editing functionality.
One thing you might consider is clearing the cache on your browser. I was working with a school that had some very strange issues where one person in the organization could see everything, do everything, but three others couldn't. It turned out that the three others needed to clear their cache. Once that was done, happy days. I'm not sure if that'll help, but it might be worth a try.
Having the same issue on Microsoft Edge and Chrome. I've found a temporary solution, in my case I needed to change the dates on a bar chart. I changed the graph to a table, closed the properties tab and re-opened. Changed the date and then changed the visualisation back to a bar chart. Once you click back onto your chosen visualisation you wont be able to change any of its composition, so I suppose only works if you need to change the set up and not style.
