Sum/Average/Median/Variance Not Working

I keep getting an error when I try to calculate the sum of a column in Looker. The original data is in a Google Sheet. Everything works for minimum and maximum, but I get an error with any stat that requires addition, subtraction, division, or multiplication.  The values are numbers, and there are no null values.

Is the error message actually blank?

Can you share more details about the column?
