Upcoming Excel Connector User Research Study

Hey Looker Studio Community!

Google will be conducting an upcoming user research study focusing on Excel Connector for Looker Studio. This study is an opportunity to provide feedback on something that's currently available in public preview and planning for future versions. This study will help the Google team better understand your needs in order to incorporate them into future product enhancements.

We are looking to speak with people that use Looker Studio and Excel on a regular basis and have a use case for Excel Connector but haven't used it yet.

Other details about the study

  • Dates: 8/27 - 9/6
  • Meet: online for 60 minutes
  • Incentive: $200 USD for completing the homework and participating in the study
  • NOTE: We will ask you to share your screen

If you would like to learn more or think you would be a good fit for the study and are interested in participating, please fill out the following form: https://forms.gle/i7wsLyNFpdaWaeKp7

If you don’t think you’re a good fit, but you know someone who might be, please feel free to share the above information with them.

We look forward to speaking with you and learning more about how we can make Excel Connector more useful to you.

Regards,
Brett Burnside

Anyone interested? How can we pique your interest?

A quick update - there will no longer be homework to do before we meet and we're looking for people that have a need for Excel Connector, but haven't taken it for a test drive yet.

I would be interested however the survey requires too much PII

My apologies @Kev77 ! We use that information to coordinate scheduling sessions and making sure we're following appropriate laws and compliance requirements when providing incentives for participating in research studies like this. I'm sure you're not the only one that feels this way, feel free to contact me directly at bburnside@google.com - I'd like to talk to you more about this and see if there's a way we can be respectful of people's PII concerns without excluding them from our research studies.
