Hello,
I am brand new to Looker studio. so please excuse if it is a stupid question... I spend some hours in investigating and youtube videos but I didn't get the answer to my question.
I did a survey using google forms. From the spreadsheet I would like to create a report showing the results. So my table looks like
Timestamp | Job profile | How long in company? | Question 1 | Question 2 | Question 3 | Question 4 |
16.04.2025 15:56:43 | Sales rep | <1 year | Agree | Strongly agree | Disagree | Strongly disagree |
16.04.2025 16:08:08 | Customer service | 1-5 years | Strongly agree | Agree | Disagree | Strongly agree |
16.04.2025 17:30:00 | Others | >10 years | Disagree | Disagree | Agree | Strongly disagree |
17.04.2025 07:20:43 | Sales rep | <1 year | Strongly disagree | Strongly disagree | Strongly agree | Agree |
17.04.2025 13:04:55 | Others | 5-10 years | Agree | Disagree | Disagree | Disagree |
I would like to have a diagram with the 4 questions and the answers like here in gSheet
But I would also like to have the possibility to cross filter with the second and third column. But so far Looker studio only allows to create a diagram with one column. Is there a possibility to combine the question columns in one diagram incl. having the cross filter with the first columns?
Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany!
I think you'll need to create a separate stacked single bar chart for each question. In that case you'll need the Dimension to be something static like "Question 1" and then your breakdown is the Question 1 field and your metric is count of responses. Turn on cross-filtering. You can create the first bar, then copy it to create the others, with some hacks along the way to make it look like it's all one chart (hide axes, etc.)
Then, you can click a section of bar chart to cross-filter everyone who answered a certain way in question 1 with a certain way for question 2, etc.
