What is the best practice to implement row level security with Looker

Dear Support Team,

I am David Isaacs working for 4WD Supacentre (Retail trade organisation). We extensively use GCP.

I want to implement Row Level Security using Looker. 

I have tested (POC) the Row level Security using looker with some of colleagues who have individual access to the dataset. The changes that I made on looker was data credentials was Viewer.  It worked for people who have access to the datasets. 

However when i tried to rollout this report to the wider audience using groups it gave the following error message.

 

Please let me know what is the best practice to implement row level security in looker studio.  Hope to hear from you soon.

To my knowledge, the only row-level security available in Looker Studio is Filtering by email address. Is that what you've done already?
