Hi All,
I need some guidance on which IP addresses should be whitelisted in Snowflake to enable our connection with Looker. After searching through various forums, I’ve come across conflicting advice and could use some clarification.
One source suggests whitelisting the address 142.251.74.0/23, while another recommends allowlisting IP ranges for us-central1, us-east1, or us-west1 from this list: Google Cloud IP Ranges.
Which approach is correct? Additionally, our support team is concerned about the number of IP addresses that might need to be opened. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your assistance!
Furthermore, it would be nice to have clarification about this since I have whitelisted all the IP ranges present in Google Cloud IP Ranges on the Snowflake instance and I still can not make a connection.
Looker Studio is contacting Snowflake with IPs that are outside the IP ranges on the said list. Examples: 34.116.21.35, 34.116.22.65, etc.
