customized tooltip to show hidden values

Is it possible to keep this field hidden, but have it shown  on a customized tooltip?

The Tooltip customization page from the Getting the most out of Looker visualizations cookbook provides a pretty good step-by-step tutorial on how to make a custom tooltip! You can also use the chart config editor to add some customizations to the tooltip, also!
