I want to set up daily, weekly, and monthly levels of aggregation in a pivot table (in columns). Since drill-down isn't available, I tried using a dimension control as an alternative, but it results in an error indicating an invalid combination of metrics. Better alternative or resolving issue is much appreciated.
Thank you
Hi @Infinity, thanks for your post!
It looks like Drill Actions should be available for pivot charts. The instructions for adding a curated Drill Actions menu for users is documented on the Add drill actions to charts documentation page. Users could then switch between the time granularities using the Drill Actions menu, as documented on the Drill into your data page: https://support.google.com/looker-studio/answer/13872615.
Alternatively, do you think you could have three dimensions that represent the different time granularities (daily, weekly, monthly)? Or else, could you simplify the data and use a table chart with drill actions instead?
Thanks for the reply @Lobo-Google.
I have keywords arranged in rows and dates in columns. To optimize, I need three levels of time granularity, but charts aren't suitable in this scenario.
