I cannot share looker studio report to others and got this error, could you let me know how to fix this? many thanks in advance. I confirm that email is correct but I cannot share and got error message

There are several reasons that this might happen. Is the teammate also a Google user? The Invite others to your reports documentation page has a lot of information about how to add users, and might provide some ideas for troubleshooting.

Thanks for your reply. I see that with the same google account, I can invite others to my looker studio report on my Windows computer, but with my MacBook or Android tablet, I cannot share, it's so weird .... could you let me know?

Hey guys,

I hope this will give you the needed answer.

Even if you are an editor of the report, if this setting is enabled, you won't be able to share it further.

Only the owner can enable/disable that setting and if it is enabled, only the owner can share the report with others.

Please let us know how it goes.

I ran into this same issue. I couldn't edit the share settings of an existing report, nor invite new users. Just received the generic message

"An unknown error occurred – please try again later"

I inspected the network request when submitting the share window form and noticed the request was erroring with a specific message

RECAPTCHA_VERIFICATION_FAILED - I'm assuming the form has an invisible recaptcha that isn't verifying correctly.

I'm using Firefox, after switching to Chrome I was able to modify the share settings again.
