"Modern Charts" causing "System Error" - How to revert?

Hi everyone,

I recently switched to the "modern charts" in Looker Studio  after seeing the blue information window prompt. It mentioned the change was reversible, but now all my graphs are displaying the error: "System Error, Looker Studio has encountered a system error. Specified data cannot be rendered."

I can'f find any option to revert back to the old charts in the "Themes & Layout" menu, and I'm not sure what's causin the error. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks,

Update: It appears the "System Error" when using "Modern Charts" is triggered when the "band bard line color" is set to "transparent." Copying the graph and changing the line color resolves the issue.

My apologies, I missed the disclaimer that the upgrade to "modern charts" is irreversible.

Luckily, I implemented it in a development version using "manual report publishing," so the impact is minimal. However, it's definitely worth being cautious when enabling this option on existing dashboards.
