Abnormal Forecast Results

Morning!

When adding a prediction/forecasting feature into my looker graph, the results are impossible to justify as it is very out of bounds. I do understand how the ARIMA looker forecasting model works based on looker documentation, but I see zero correlation between prediction and the training dataset (3) as it doubles or triples any past month results, checkout the graph (1). The prediction it is based on "last 24 complete months". See the configuration of the prediction below (2).

Hey @miguelfrutos,

Are you still facing this issue? I'm having trouble recreating it, mine seems to work. If you are I would suggest hitting command+k or ctrl+k and recreating it.

If you still have issues, I'd recommend you file a bug through Looker Support.

hi,

I had a similar issue. It seems that taking 2 years is not enough, with 3 years of historical data the prediction looks far more realistic. I hope it helps.
