Copy Paste when cross filtering in Looker

It is common for our users to click and drag to select a range of data, copy and paste in Looker

We have dashboards now with cross-filtering enabled. When the users select a range of data, they are unable to copy. 

Any idea if this was a recent change from Looker or a workaround to enable copy on a cross-filtered dashboard ?
