We're noticing that after merges in Looker, it is taking quite a long time to reflect in Production.
Sometimes it may be around a few minutes, while other times it may take hours.
Has anyone experienced something like this before and if so, any possible solutions?
In my opinion and from my experience Merge results should be used as one of the last options, since you are running 2 or more queries simultaneously and there is an extra consumption of the Looker instance.
Anyway, check each query time to detect if there is a performance problem in any of them.
Hi, if you're talking about the Deployment Manager taking a long time to process deployments to production then you can reach out to Looker support and ask for an instance restart. I've done this a couple of times when it was loading for 5+ minutes for each step.

@Magen1 We also faced the same issue: The deployed changes took some time to reflect the changes in the production environment. Sometimes the entire view disappears after the changes. even after trying to refresh it many times, it didn't work.
Is there any solution or a specific reason why this is occurring?
