Pairing filters where if you get one you always get the other

I know this is probably unlikely, but is there a way to pair two fields where if you filter by one you must filter by the other?

I’m trying to implement the wonderful implementation for period-over-period comparisons documented here. In the end result of that implementation, you must always have 2 filters active for it to work: A filter-only date range filter & a timeframes dimension filter.

So if we set this feature free to our team, we’re going to need to always note that to use this feature you will need to use both filters. But ideally if a user chooses the filter-only comparison date range filter, the timeframes dimension filter would automatically also be applied with a default value, since it’s required for the comparison to work properly.

Anyone have any advice on this?
