     Our mission in this community is to make this place an innovative, trusted, and vibrant hub for you to find answers, make meaningful connections, share ideas, and build skills.

       For quite some time, there have been a multitude of communities and Google Groups for customer peer-to-peer product discussions. Our goal is to unite many of these efforts into a centralized place and build programs to recognize our top contributors and advocates. And while it won’t happen overnight, you’ll see more of these disparate forums find a new home right here. 

     In building this community we seek to answer the questions like: How can we help you get your questions answered? How can we help you build connections to the Google teams? How can we do a better job at listening and acting on your feedback? 

     We also wanted to create a place for new interaction types than we have done in the past including: community blogs, Queue-the-Questions our “AMA” series, groups, and more. We wanted to make community based learning an integrated part of the experience. Here you will find valuable resources to help you on your learning & certification journey and fun ways to learn with peers with Community Challenges and other events. 

     We want this to be a place to help you reach your goals. This is a large effort spread across multiple teams: from Product Management, Customer Success, DevRel, Support, and Roadmaps teams. Everyone is pitching in to contribute to this community. 

     And we recognize that this is a marathon and not a sprint.

We will work to listen to our members and seek opportunities to add more value where we can. I want to say thanks to our customers who helped to push us and who are fierce advocates for community in all of its forms.

Thanks for help (re)creating this platform, Andrew. I'm excited because I can see the enormous potential value this will have for GCP customers.
