Cloud Scheduler Job pricing

Hi all

(hope I got the right location)

I have ~60 schedule jobs, schedule every hour, triggering cloud functions, running in total for over a year now (over 2 projects) costing ~0.2$ daily.

Last Friday the cost for the jobs jump to ~4 $/day.

Reading the documentation cost calculation is by job instances times 0.1 / month, regardless of each job execution. Having no changes done I do not understand the cost increase .

Looking in the reports daily job usage increase that day from "32 Job-days" to 350 Job-days" with no reason I can spot.

Would highly appreciates any help and advice.

I have no information to share about cause or resolution ... but what I can share is that I had a review of the summaries of open tickets relating to Cloud Scheduler and there is a significant burst of new tickets that match the descriptions in this thread.  From my perspective, you might want to raise a ticket with Cloud Billing Support.  I'd describe your problem in your own words, including a link to this community thread ... and maybe refer to the Google case/issue known as "b/266423454" which appears to be a linking of support cases that appear to be all reporting the same/similar issue.   Let's let the support engineers dig a little deeper to get to the bottom of it.

Others including me with the same issue. Speculation is that it's actually worked out per hour and someone forgot to divide by 24 which fits as my single day usage was 72 job-days when it should have been 3 (3 jobs per day).

Hopefully this gets reverted

It seems to be back to normal since 2 days.

It does seem to be back to normal, but we've been billed 24x what we should have been for 3 days, which for some people could be a huge amount of money

For me the issue was fixed along with my billing report
