DNS info not updated

Hello!

We are having some issues related to the assignment GCE machine nam and IP. The problem is that our GCE machine IP is associated to an old machine (probably original) not owned by us and we are receiving requests for that name.

We cannot change DNS records because we are not the owners.

We have tested using nslookups and almost all DNS servers have that wrong information. 

Is there any way to update that information?

Note:

• Situation: Actual ip <-> old machine name (not owned by us)
• What we need: Actual ip <-> new machine name (owned by us)

If you do not own the DNS records, then there is not much you can do other than ask the owner to change them since they are pointing to your IP.

The other option is to change your IP so you don't get the requests.
