Hi
Our website is down and it is showing certificate is expired. When I check the custom domain settings section in GCP, I am getting the following warning.
We have removed the records and re-added them, but showing the same warning.
Please help.
Hi @sulagna1 ,
Based from error message, the domain name is not pointing to a valid IP address, and as a result, the website or service associated with that domain name cannot be accessed.
Check if your DNS records are set up correctly in order for your website or service to be accessible. If you are experiencing issues with your DNS records, you should contact your domain name registrar or hosting provider for assistance.
For now, you can follow these steps :
1. Go to your Domain Registrar (assuming you bought your domain through Google) https://domains.google.com/m/registrar/Click on the domain name you'd like to resolve.
2. Go to "DNS" -> "Custom resource records" at the bottom.
3. Fill in the info with the appropriately matching IPv4/IPv6 addresses: Custom Resource Records Where You'll Copy Over Info From App Engine.
(Note: This is for domain names bought through Google's registrar. If you bought yours elsewhere then the steps may differ.)
As of the moment, I checked your domain, and it is up and running. But just in case you experience the same issue on your website, you can take note of my recommendations.
Hello @Marvin_Lucero
Thanks for the reply.
We are using CloudFlare as the domain registrar. We had all the details added there and the site was up and running. But yesterday we were getting this warning and our site was down.
We removed the records and re-added them multiple times but got no luck.
We found from google cloud status that some of the products were down last day.
These statuses are okay now and our website is also up and running. So this must be the reason our website was down.
