Unable to change memory allocation in Cloud Function

I am trying to increase the the Memory Allocation for some of my Cloud Function for past few hours. If I change it and deploy the Memory Allocation keeps staying in 512 MiB. It was working when I tried it few days back. What am I doing wrong ? Can someone help me out on this please?

Hello,

If you are properly updating the memory of your Cloud Function and changes are not being reflected, that would not be an expected behavior. 

Can you please list the steps you are taking to update the memory of your Cloud Functions? Screenshots could be helpful but please keep in mind not to share any project information so your project ID and function name should be blurred out.
