Unable to restore firestore backup

I am trying to restore a firestore backup to new database but it doesn't seem to be working, I see the database created and it deleted after a while with no error. I can't see anything in log explorer also.

Check the mode in which firestore exported and the mode in which you are trying to import.

There are two modes, datastore and firestore.
