Why You Should Join Our Community

There are many reasons why you should join the Google Cloud Community by creating an account. Not only does a Community account enable you to post comments, including questions to issues that you are experiencing, as well as help others with their questions, but you can also personalize your community experience by means of your profile settings.

Also, as a registered community member, you will have exclusive opportunities to partake in events that offer SWAG and other perks. Without an account, you can only browse, search for information, and read posts. You won't be able to engage by giving likes, interact with other community members by posting, responding, or messaging, manage subscriptions, or edit personal Community settings. This also means that you can't share your knowledge and won't be able to establish a reputation for being an expert.  Furthermore, not having a Community account also means that you won't have access to private areas of the Community, whether they may require an invitation or a join request.

Registering for a Community Account

Registering is quick and easy. All you need is a Google account. You can find instructions for registering for a Community account here.

Creating Your Profile

Joining the Community gives you a profile with personal profile information that you choose to share. Some of the profile information consists of your username, your avatar image, your activity and badges, and your recent posts.
