Allow Admins to disable users ability to reset their passwords ability by OU's.

Currently there is no straight forward way to disable the ability for users to change their passwords. The only way is a round about way that redirects it by a URL, but it does this for the whole domain. We only need to disabled K-5's ability to change their passwords. 6-12 and Staff are allowed to. It would be nice to have this as a straight forward toggle off radio button or box we can uncheck in the user settings.

Hi

To block password change yes you have to use the change password url by setuping a SSO, but you are lucky ๐Ÿ™‚ as Google just anounced partial SSO : https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2021/07/saml-partial-sso-beta.html

Would be interesting to test and I think it must work. You just have to define the password url change and apply the setting to the org unit needed.

It is available for all workspace licenses.

Hi There,
I am new to this community and already finding this forum extremely helpful.
I was hoping to find out if there was any other way besides the above solution to have change password disabled on a specific OU - eg: Students under the age of 13.
I cant implement the above solution as I have about 60 schools (central tenant) and every school will have their own requirement.

Thanks,
Harpreet
